BIOGRAPHY
 
 
Oscar Dillon, better known as Big-O', was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri.  He comes from a family of 6 siblings, and a father and mother struggling to make ends meet, while strongly being involved in a religious environment. Big-O'  was a scholar and a star athlete in school and graduated from Soldan High school.  Shortly thereafter enrolled into Forest Park Junior College, studying criminology/psychology.  Since childhood he was very successful in various types of sports and music, while also having the opportunity to be drafted later into pro-football from free-agent camp, but chose to be a Police Officer instead.  Go figure!

Big-O' endured many family tragedies and hardships due to poverty level.  He was sought after by friends of the St Louis Police Department and was hired by same as a Police Officer.  In his 9 years of service he won many honors as a decorated Police Officer and became a Detective soon after his employment.  While already being a competitive bodybuilder, Big-O'  won the Police Olympics and Weight Lifting/Bodybuilding Contests for 5 consecutive years.  He became one the strongest men in the world, after having broken a world record in power lifting in 1980, as well as achieving many bodybuilding titles such as  Mr. St Louis, Mr. Missouri, Mr. Heart of America, Mr. USA, Mr. Mid-Valley, Mr. Ohio Valley and many others.   Big-O'  was involved in Martial Arts and became a professional Black Belt in Karate and Ju-jit-su at the tender age of 9, as well as some Golden Glove Boxing and continues same throughout his life, which he employs in his Hollywood stunt work.       

While serving as a Police Officer in St Louis, Big-O' realized that there was something broader in this world for him to do to make a difference in the lives of children and people of misfortune, and most importantly to try to financially help his family.  In June of 1982 he decided to follow his vision and moved to Los Angeles.  

After arriving in Los Angeles, he was hired by Motown Records to work as a bodyguard for Michael Jackson and the Jackson Family.  Big-O', being of such statue and personality, was approached numerous times by agents and managers in Hollywood to get involved in the Entertainment business.  He was subsequently hired by Universal Studios Hollywood, performing as a Sorcerer in the Conan The Barbarian Show.  He worked at the Studio for 10 years until the show was cancelled.  Also in and around that period, Big-O' worked for the Mattel Toy Production Masters of the Universe as a character called Skeletor, as well as many other Disney shows, such as Alladin's Oasis with Robin Williams.  

Since that time he has co-starred and/or starred in over 35 movie productions, including Batman Forever (Val Kilmer), Disney's Magic Island (Zachary Ty Bryan), The Wood(Omar Epps), Memorial Day (Jeff Speakman), Tango and Cash (Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell), Rising Sun (Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes),and most recently Undisputed (Wesley Snipes, Ving Rhames), Biker Boys (Kid Rock, Laurence Fishburne),El Padrino (Faye Dunaway and Robert Wagner), soon to come Cat in the Hat (Mike Meyers) and many more action movies and Disney Live Shows.  Big-O' has done over 50 commercials, including and most notable the Caesar's Palace Gladiator fight commercial.  He has appeared in over 50 television shows, including the Young and the Restless, Baywatch Nights (David Hasselhoff), Family Matters, The Andy Dick Show, Saved by the Bell, Beverly Hills 90210, Spy TV, etc.  

He also works as a Hollywood Stuntman in many movie and TV productions and is also a certified personal fitness trainer and nutritionist.

Big-O' plays bass and acoustic guitar professionally, which began as a child participating in the church choir.  Big-O' has worked with many recording artists in the music industry.  Music has always been Big-O's  greatest passion and is currently in the preliminary stages of recording his own personal CD.  

Some of Big-O's hobbies include riding his custom Harley Davidson, Horse back riding, playing sports and continuing to work out in the Gym.

Last but not least Big-O' dedicates much of his time to working with many charity foundations for the betterment of children.

Big O has always had a connection with God but after he died twice and came back, he is on a mission to help others learn the lessons he has realized along his journey. He has a passion for helping young men live with integrity and understand that strength comes from surrender. His five life lessons are included in the book. Although he has a desire to help men the five nuggets of wisdom can help anyone improve their life.
